It’s very close to MG Marg.Also for seving delicious buffet breakfast & polite behavior of hotel staff. We explored various food options at MG Marg (Different types of Momos-Veg Momos/Chicken Momos/Thukpa/Thaipo/Jhol Momos/Peri Peri Momos/Fried Momos) & did shopping at Lal Bazaar. (Bought Winter Jackets& other items at very cheap rate). If you are interested to enjoy night life do visit After Dark Discotheque. 1.Gangtok Sightseeing: -Ontime Pick up & Drop by Mr. Satish. Places to Visit:- --Ganesh Tok—Lord Ganesh Temple. --Hanuman Tok—Lord Hanuman Temple --Gonjang Monastery --Bakthankg Waterfall --Tashi View Point—Sunset View Point --Nathula Pass—India China Border. (Must Visit) --Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple(Must Visit) --Changu Lake.(Must Visit):-Enjoyed Ropeway ride 2.Hotel: -Hotel Himalayan Retreat, Darjeeling-I would like to give 3*s for Service& Hospitality. Its very close to Mall Road.Morning Breakfast options are limited.You only get Puri Bhaji/Poha/1 egg/1 Banana/Tea/Coffee/Juice.Same breakfast everyday.They charged extra 500INR per Night for Heater for bad quality-Ideally it should have been covered in room charges.Would suggest go for another hotel. We visited Glenary's— Bakery, Restaurant& Pub, and explored various food options @Mall Road. 2.Darjeeling Sightseeing: -Ontime Pick up & Drop by Mr.Ashal & Mr.Jugal. Enjoyed Darjeeling Joy Ride. Places to Visit: - --Tiger Hill-Unfortunately couldn't visit due to bad weather. --Peace Pagoda (Japanese Temple) --Tenzing Rock HMI --Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park --Batasia Loop --Ghoom Monastery --K SANG-NGAG CHOLING MONASTERY --Pine Tree Forest --Simana View point --Pashupati Temple & Market (India-Nepal Border)-Visited Temple & did shopping at Pashupati market. --Gopal Dhara Tea Estate-Bought variety to Tea Packets. --Mirik Lake:-Horse Riding/Boating. She went a mile ahead and consistently checked on us during the trip till we returned back to home. This is truly awesome of her. Moving on, we had a splendid time in Gangtok. The cab driver Mr. Dorji took care of us greatly. He was delightful and engaged us always in fruitful conversations. He shared much beautiful stories and info about the Gangtok places. He was traveller friendly. He ensured that we covered all the places mentioned in the itineary. We had a lovely time travelling with him. After receiving such a beautiful time in Gangtok, we had little disappointment in Darjelling. The Darjelling driver, Mr. Pritam was silent and reserved in nature. Nevertheless he also ensured that we covered all the spots as per our itineary. He was very fixed and not flexible.

other company. Unlike the other company, Bina Travels consistently followed up to provide all the information and suggestions needed to enhance our trip. The communication with them was very pleasant. During our trip, we requested some modifications, and Bina Travels accommodated them without any complaints. From planning the tour to ensuring everything went smoothly during the trip, they stayed in touch to make sure we were having a great experience. Their service was exceptional. Special thanks to Bina madam and Manisha madam. The hotel booked for us at Gangtok and Lachung were expceptional. It was so nice, no points found for "need improvement" On the last day, our taxi driver canceled at the last moment, which was a really bad experience. However, Bina Travels quickly arranged a substitute within a few minutes, ensuring we reached the airport on time. "Not so good" part: Our airport pickup on the first day was delayed, and we had to wait for 2 hours at the airport. The car that eventually arrived was a Siliguri-Gangtok shuttle service vehicle in poor condition, with dust everywhere, including on the seats. On the third day, there was a delay with the Nathula Pass permit, which was sent to our driver by another taxi. The morning taxi arrived 45 minutes late, and we had to wait an additional hour for the permit on the roadside. Bina Travels could have provided the permit early in the day, saving us an hour that we could have spent exploring another place or enjoying more time at Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. The hotel in Darjeeling was located at the dead end of a hilly road, making it difficult to access (this may be due to last minute addition in the itinerary to add 1 day Darjeeling trip). The one-way road caused us to wait in traffic for an hour. The hotel didn't have an elevator, and our rooms were on the 4th floor. The hotel itself was disappointing, with no power in the room for the entire night. The generator was switched off after some time, and the response from the hotel staff was unsatisfactory. Bina Travels should coordinate with more reliable taxi drivers and hotel partners.

We stayed at Hotel Bella Casa in Gangtok, but unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations. The facilities and service could have been much better, which was a letdown. Darjeeling Stay (Jagjeet Yuma): Our stay at Jagjeet Yuma in Darjeeling was delightful. The hotel provided a comfortable and cozy environment, with excellent service that enhanced our experience. Transportation and Drivers: The drivers throughout our journey were professional, and punctual. They navigated the challenging mountain roads skillfully and ensured a safe and smooth journey for our family. Sightseeing Highlights: In Gangtok, we visited beautiful spots like Nathual pass (China Border) , Namchi and Changu Lake. The transfer to Darjeeling included scenic stops and sightseeing. In Darjeeling, we loved exploring Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery, Mirik Lake, Pashupati Temple Nepal. Overall Experience: Despite some issues with the Gangtok accommodation, the trip as a whole was an amazing family experience. The stunning views, serene landscapes, and time spent together made it a journey we’ll always cherish.
